Character Interview for Traci Simmons
Do you have a special talent or gift?
I think my special talent is what I was doing at my last job. My boss would give me an assignment to find out everything about something, like “what are the best locations to install vending machines in the Tri-county area?” You never knew what type of question you would get or the name of the client that requested the information. But whatever it was the client needed it to make some big business decisions about products and stuff. I love to research and find answers. I think I’m pretty good at that. And I really liked working at Nevermore, but … Well, that’s over and there’s nothing I can do about it. I always believe something better is right around the corner, though.
Tell us about your family.
I don’t remember them, sorry.
Who is the most important person in your life?
Myra is the most important person to me. She’s been like a mentor and best friend even though technically she’s not my case worker anymore. I tell her all my secrets and she always helps me with everything. I owe her a lot, more than I could ever repay, for sure. I don’t know where I’d be without her.
What do you do for fun?
I like to look through design magazines, like Faucier Home and PierPoint Palisades. I pick up free copies at the McClendon Library and tear out the pages to keep for ideas and stuff. I can imagine fixing up my house using some of the techniques. You’d be surprised at how much you can do on the cheap and get the same results. I don’t have much money but eventually, my place is going to be so nice.
If someone was to play you in a movie, who would it be?
I think it should be ME! I mean, don’t you think so?
Haha! Why of course!
